Labour day and this holiday officially celebrates workers and the labour union movement. Do you know that it has been celebrated in Canada on the first Monday in September since the 1880s?
In the past, people were fighting for a chance to work less than 12 hours a day and have a shorter work week. Labour day was a perfect occasion how to remind such events. These day, only some think about the history. For others, Labour Day is the unofficial end of summer and one last change for family BBQ or camping trip. What will you do?
We would like to remind you that our office will be closed for this holiday and we will reopen on Tuesday, September 4th 2018.
