If you have taken a stroll recently in the heart of Yaletown you have probably noticed the unique and beautiful construction of the newly redeveloped residential building right at the corner of Richards St and Helmcken St. What you may have not known, is that this newly constructed building, known as the Jubilee House, located on 1099 Richards Street and operated by the 127 Society for Housing, is a mixed occupancy building of social housing for low income seniors as well as low end of market rentals.
The construction of the Jubilee house stemmed from the previous project known as the Old Jubilee House which was built in 1986 to provide safe, affordable homes and a welcoming environment for low income senior citizens. When the opportunity to redevelop a new building across the street which would continue to house each one of the tenants of the Old Jubilee House as well as provide housing to an additional 75 low-end-market tenants, the 127 Society for Housing took it.
It is with great enthusiasm that Terra Property Management has partnered with 127 Society for Housing to lease this building to those seeking safe, comfortable and affordable housing. Available now, for immediate move in’s are:
