Today, on November 11 at 11:00 am, marks the date and time when the first world war officially ended in 1918.

For the past 96 years since this date, we have designated this important day to stop and reflect on the brave contribution our Veterans have made. Remembrance Day, once known as Armistice Day, is a time for us to remember the men and women who not only served but continue to serve our country during times of war, conflict and peace.

We are very grateful to live in such a beautiful and peaceful Country and to have the service of the Canadian Armed Forces.

Here are a few ways easy ways for you to honor and share in your remembrance of our Veterans today:

  • Wear a poppy
  • Attend your local Remembrance Day ceremony
  • Send a postcard to a Canadian Armed Forces member, Click here
  • Read about Remembrance Day and the history of World War One, Click here
  • Watch Veterans talk about their experience by visiting this link,  Click here

Please note that as Remembrance Day is a statutory holiday, the Terra Property Management office will be closed for today and will re-open Thursday, November 12.  For any emergency building maintenance matters, please contact our emergency line at 604-736-1157.
